I have a quick question regarding if modifiers in combat stack.

For example: "If the wielder causes an unsaved wound on an enemy, then that model and any other models in the unit that have not yet attacked suffer -1 to hit for that combat phase"

Would additional wounds count towards more penelties on to hit?

Depends on the exact wording of the special rule. I know the modifiers for spells stack tho, i also know that a 6 allways hits.

No, in that case it doesn't stack.
Think of it like this: If it is a single source it usually doesn't stack unless it in some way says it does.

If you cause 1 unsaved wound you have caused AN unsaved wound - -1 to hit

If you cause 3000 unsaved wounds you have still fulfilled the criteria "have caused an unsaved wound" and are still giving the -1 to hit.

Yes I would agree it doesn't stack, if they meant for it to stack it would say "Each" unsaved wound.

In this case stating "an" is equivalent to saying "at least" in terms of function.

I blame old age....30 next year (as my hubby reminds me on a regular basis.....)

Well, not to wrench things o.t., but I just wanted to toss this out there: isn't there a magic weapon in the Wood Elf Book, the Dawnspear, or something, that does something similar? Perhaps this stacks with itself, no?
