Middle Earth

My clubs looking into Flames, mid war to be precise and I wanted to start a british commando list.

Whats a good list and some good tactics to use for them?

Firstly, I dont play FOW... But...

If mid-war is say 1942 & 1943, you aint gonna get much.

They spent their time raiding facilities not fighting pitched battles.

The only MW commando lists I know are the one in North Africa and the Dieppe pdf. Commandos are great in assault, but they don't get a AT boost like the airborne. If you're planning on making an all-comers list I'd look at the North Africa briefing, since it has better AT support options.

That said, the key to elite infantry lists is always to bring lots of infantry.

Agreed, Your not going to get any significant action till after D-Day and most of the large actions where Commando units got put in as leg infantry wern't till very late 44 early 45.

The Lieutenant is a Punk! And a pretty 2nd rate Punk at that.......
