Great work. The dread claw looks really nice on the crane.

I overuse ellipses constantly in my posts. Apologies in advance, unless you already read my post. In that case regular apologies instead.

Of course, now that he's so far along, GW comes out and makes some really nice stuff to complement his motor pool / dockyard diorama!

Typical!!!! I thought you were joking at first, oh well the new terrain set looks good. Plenty of potential. The vehicles look to orky for me, don't have an mechanicus or imperial vibe in my personal opinion.

Updated the pic. Only $40 for the set. Not bad even if it saves you a couple hours of labor on the trusses & tracks!

So after an enforced break with work and preparing a presentation for an interview, was nice to get some time to do a bit more detailing. managed to run the main sections for the hydrolic lines on the second aux crane. using brass tube and silicone tubing for the flxei hoses, few progress pics below

Oh NICE! That's a detail you almost never see on miniatures! It's such nice greebling, though.

Cheers anvildude,
Never heard of "greebling" before, had to google it!!!
Excellent word, I will be using it in future for sure.

Just be careful you don't confuse it with "Gribbling". Very different things.

Well the flexi hoses were a complete fail so spent my weekend on a quick conversion project instead. Utilising a £2 kids tractor trailer as a basic model, have removed the wheels and added tracks, replaced the crude cast tanker hatch with parts left over from a Russ kit and scratch built a cat walk on top. The ladder on the rear is left over from my the baneblade conversion. Added an extra strap round the tank centre and then added some rivet detail. Probably won't get a chance to paint it till next weekend but here it is

So been a busy week, but did manage to squeeze an hour in yesterday while the sun was out to get the primer on the main body. been looking at it all week, trying to work out what was wrong as it just didn't look right, then someone on another forum posted I'd forgot the drawbar jack/landing gear for when it's detached. So 40mins of playing with plastic, and also shortened the draw bar as this too did not seem right and it's all looking much better.

That is some sweet detailing, really nice work, always great to see stuff without a gun on it.

Cheers Cam,
Trying to get plenty of civi or general stuff together to go with the armoured vehicles,
Not getting a lot of time at the moment, lots of ideas floating round my head but can't get the chance to do anything with them. So frustrateing.

So with the little free time this week, I made a light automatated towing vehicle to go with the tank trailer. Used an old robogear kit with minor mods and extra details and a quick coat of primer. Drawbar got some basic rivet detail as well so this ones now on to painting.
