Had a couple games of Mech Attack! this weekend.

My overall thoughts. Great game, some small areas for possible improvement but good enough that I don't at all regret acquiring a few hundred mechwarrior clix...

Interesting ion the "damage pattern" for weapons. Didn't think I'd see that again after Crimson Skies.

I think the old Renegade Legionp game from FASA had damage patterns as well. Definitely a neat mechanic!

There are a number of games that utilize damage patterns and a grid of one type or another. As far as I know, Mech Attack is one of the most simple and streamlined, which fits well with the fast-play nature of the game.
