I was reading the Witchfire Trilogy this weekend and an idea came to me to create a list that incorporates the many models from the IKRPG line that jumped into Warmachine.

Looking through the Factions and casters, I chose Caine as the most likely to lead such a rag-tag bunch.

Here is what I came up with at 35pts.

* Lancer (6pts)
Alexia Ciannor & the Risen (Alexia and 9 Risen Grunts) (5pts)
Black 13th Gun Mage Strike Team (4pts)
Dannon Blythe & Bull (4pts)
Gorman di Wulfe, Rogue Alchemist (2pts)
Journeyman Warcaster (3pts)
* Charger (4pts)
Professor Victor Pendrake (2pts)
Reinholdt, Gobber Speculator (1pts)
Rutger Shaw (2pts)
* Nomad (6pts)
Taryn di la Rovissi (2pts

I gave Caine the Lancer to use up his points, and not suck away focus like a Hunter can do.
B13, Journeyman and Charger were added to get to 35pts and add a bit of what I thought was good to the list.
Rutger, Taryn, and the Nomad will be a mini-unit.
Gorman is in there because he struck me as an icon of what they look for in their RPG.

I have not used this list. I have not used much outside of my Cryx in WM/H

I was hoping for others' insight into how it would work, and how well it would work.
I know it is not optimal, just hoping it could be useable.

you seem to be missing lanyssa.
also, how dose the hunter suck away more focus than a lancer?? i get that chargers eat focus like candy but the hunter generally only needs the damage boost.

If that. They're pretty self-sufficient event without the extra focus for the damage boost.

Lanyssa is a Hordes solo, so I left her out. same with Alten Ashley. Pendrake is an Ally so he made it in.

I find I need to boost hit and damage with a Hunter.
Hunter attracts a lot of attention in my group, as well.

With a Lancer, I want it to get in the way and occasionally I can arc Thunderstrike thru it.
Also, the Arc Node lets it support units while Caine is elsewhere.
Maybe I am offbase. I have little experience with the Cygnar stuff.

I would rather not give Caine a jack, but then I am under by 6,
so I was thinking the Arc Node with the Spear would be useful where the Hunter would need help.
And auto-Cortex damage is evil.

Alexia doesn't have much fuel, but the solo heavy IK theme is very cool.
