Wooooooooooooooooo
Just a tiny bit......... off in terms of proportion maybe.... or the age old over sized shoulders issue...

I wonder why it took so long? Maybe the shoulders were not big enough.

5 models per pack.... that looks nice.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I think they look good for what they are.

They fit in with the Fane Knight and the other heavy infantry stuff.

Too bad I don't care for that part of the Ret look.

The mounts are decent. Strip the shoulders off the riders and they'll be a whole lot more proportionate. In fact, without the stupid shoulderpads the heads will look less tiny and the weapons will get the visual focus they deserve.

PP again show that they are great at detail, but terrible at proportions for anything with more than light armor. At least they're consistent.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

This isn't even TW cav levels of fail. They're beyond that.

Conceptwise, TWC are a cool idea.
Execution wise...they look like the mentally slowed offspring of He-Man's Sabertooth Tiger and a cow.

I dunno. Maybe I just really don't like Retribution's stuff because it's a really, really, really, really stupid take on an Elven faction.

Fluff-wise, they're really cool--one of my favorite aspects of the IK world. Model-wise . . . res ipsa loquitur. Not just these horse-crushers but the majority of their line. Also, GW's Canis looks gak. Mr Dandy's wolves (especially as painted by Sigur) are the win.

This whole army is like only thing PP makes that I think just looks stupid ;( I dunno, maybe it's just the white paint, they'd prolly look better in black or something.

Games Workshop's thunderwolves canz haz unfortunate similarity to lolcatz. It's the snout- the rest of the body is fine.

Same thing with the cav here. If it weren't for the godawful pads, they'd be pretty good. But somehow that element really throws the whole thing off.

Man, I want to see a major reaction in scifi gaming minis against megapads and gunswords. Realistic proportions in physiology and armament would be refreshing (if perhaps a bit fragile). Dark Sword has done some stuff like that for fantasy. Here's hoping more PP OTTness triggers a similar movement in scifi.

Some of the guns are OTT, but the INFINITY range of figures does fairly well in those departments - keeping in mind its anime inspired roots, of course...

YES! Finally they are going to be released, they put these guys aside for so long now!
Personally, I don't really care about the destors, but another certain Khadoran heavy infantry squad has been delayed alongside destors, so I guess they will be released close alongside each other.

infantry, you were going to hate it on these.

My god, it's worse than we thought. The pauldron growth has spread to their knees. At this rate of infection we can except ~90% pauldron-model consumption by this time next year.

I really like the Retribution model line, but if PP turns out more models like these it's going to be hard to keep liking it.

Is it just me or, with all the smooth flowing lines and waaaay outsized pieces even for Warmachine, does the Ret lin suggest their armor isnt even made of metal? Maybe some kind of wraithbone-like construction or some kind of weird gak like that?
