Don't really like the GW ghouls and the Mantic ones are a lot cheaper to boot (double win!).

Have started a goal of painting 20 models every month so here are the first 20 ghouls that I painted last month.

Let me know what you think, unless you don't like them, then keep your stinking opinions to yourself.

They are pretty cool.

They have that real rough and dangerous look going for them.

there poses look very good, also a very nice paintjob, would you mind making some daylight pics as then your lightning wouldn´t be so warm...lots of colors are then better portayed...

would you recommend said ghouls for scenic scatter material? i am planning on making a big piece of terrain and need lots of dead peeps lying around...not necesseraily with all their limbs attached ...^^

My stinking opinion shall be shared for all the world to know!
They stink! well they are dead, waddya expect?

My only crit would be the amount of blood on the weapons but that is a personal preference largely informed by my sensitive disposition!

well done!

Thanks for the kind words.

@Victor von Domm: I really just need a better camera and more practice with the light box. I'll try to take some outside, daylight pics. I don't know if they'd make the best scatter material. The new Mantic zombies might be better for that.

@Element206: Thanks. It's Reaper Ghoul Skin mixed 1:1 with Reaper Pale Flesh and then just pale flesh for the highlight. I used GW's Ogryn flesh wash to give them a little bit of color so it's not so pale.

@Chibi: I don't usually paint blood on weapons, but these models were screaming for some more color and that was an easy way to do so. I actually like the bloody hands best.

Nice detail on the skin. Ilike how you can see the detail.

Shooting terrified guardsmen, bolt pistol in hand.

Cool, the last picture looks like an undead warrior monk.
