I am going to have to go with Traditional or something you create. Hello Kitty? No.

The only reason I'm even considering it is because I think it could potentially be hilarious if I beat someone with a hello kitty army, then on the other hand should I lose I'm just the jerk with the fairy army

Well Hello Kitty has pulled ahead and the idea of beating someone with a purple and pink army is appealing...Talk about adding insult to injury.

From one BA player to another....dont disgrace the Chapter by painting them in Kitty colors!

This is the sort of thing that becomes rapidly less hilarious the more hours you put into modelling and painting it. The end result is weeks worth of work that is worth, at best a vague chuckle before you go and look at someone's army that actually looks good.
I never find "gag" armies funny though so take that as you will.

I say if you have an extra model, go the full mile and convert it hello kitty style. (I am not ashamed to admit it, but I love me some hello kitty. Even have a tin lunchbox )

Not necessarily true. I'm proud of my Pretty Marines. Sure they might not be the absolute best painted force around, but I did a lot of work to get them how they are and I'm pleased with it. More than I would have been with a traditional Deathwing army, I think.

I agree, i have been following your thread checking out the models, they look great! Plus, different armies and colors are nice, boring to see the same old stuf over and over again

Pretty marines and Angry marines are the exception to my statement

This isn't a very good reason to paint an army. I mean, it might be a laugh to fill someone's computer with pictures of dicks - but think about all the time you'd have to spend looking through pictures of dicks.

Hello kitty marines has been done already. Something more original.

Taoofss nailed it. The Hello Kitty marines were funny when you first saw them. Making yet another army out of them isn't very funny.
