I really like the black and red theme, I think those colors go together just as well as green and black. Good job. I'd like to see more pictures.

If someone described your colour scheme to me I would think it horrible, but the pictures show it looks great - nice work on a scheme I would not have thought would work so well!

Very cool looking, the red lines look neat and the paint is crisp.

Coincidentally I always had a scheme just like this in mind if I were to ever get tau.

"Order. Unity. Obedience. We taught the galaxy these things, and we shall do so again."
"They are not your worst nightmare; they are your every nightmare."
"Let the galaxy burn!"

The red lines on the Hammerhead look juicy. Very nice. Usually people paint that black with the tank a lighter colour. Love it.

Great looking army man.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

Hehehe... you know what's even more "amazing"

When I started a month ago, I settled for a snow theme... so white, grey and a little blueish... with bright red markings
(White armor parts, grey cloth, blue/grey/black/white speckle pants, black leather boots/gloves)
had that for about 2 weeks, partially finished, partially unfinished.
Then one day I pick up a few models, work on some detailling... set em back, go watch tv.
Only to come back and see that I left all black fingerprints all over them ><
So... hard work to get em white again... after painting the 5th layer on my 2nd model I gave in.

Grabbed my airbrush, loaded up Chaos black with a "dirty mix" of skull white and re-coated my entire army.
came out with a graphite // carbon fiber look, which was thanks to the dirty mix .
unfortunately the effect has been (somewhat) lost after the varnish.

Yes, it looks like Tron, No it wasn't intened, lol althou it works with the "high tech" look.
Think it's because after everything was 'black', I first started on my devilfish (which is since 2 hours before the photo's a hammerhead)
Getting stuff white was a pain in the ass, so what I had left on colors was mithril silver, fenris grey and blood red (yes I started the 22nd of november, and only bought the bare minimum)
and from there I went over to my Firewarriors, stealthsuits and eventually Xv8's
lack of colors and inspiration/experience I guess... the Xv8's came out a little boring imho.

When I picked up my Hammerhead sprue friday, I also bought Ice blue and Blazing Orange (I think). for some effects here and there, unsure what thou.
