i'd add a little more color. while they are actually sneaky (especially for orks), the fluff usually describes them as having very garish camo that you wouldn't think would work but does somehow.

Don't forget to paint their Swiss army knives red. That's my favorite detail on them.

God I want to get my hands on snikrot. I get most of my stuff on ebay, so I'm looking for the right price, and I have a huge painting lineup atm, so I feel as if I should wait to get him. And besides, I am planning on doing my special characters I have once I have a lot more of my army complete. This way I can use what I have learned on them.

As for the color, I really wanted them to look "blendy" with their environment. The green in contrast with the brown I painted the majority of their clothes isnt that bright, but its one of those things where I know if I go back and try to brighten it, I will screw it up. I'm happy with the results.

As for the Swiss army knives, I love em. At first I thought they were medic kits or something, which struck me as un-orky. Until I looked in my 2nd ed codex, and saw they had blades. I was like, whaaaaaaaaat, those are knives! Awesome! I painted them dark so they don't stick out too much, as per the sneaky nature of a kommando.

I dont have any criticism for the painting of the models. It looks like you have a clear grasp of the fundamentals of painting, but I dont see much beyond that here (highlgihts, shading, fine details). I do however LOVE these models! This is the first time I have ever seen them, definately cool!

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

The Dude - "Jackie Treehorn treats objects like women, man."

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."
