Saw these guys at TMP and thought they looked neat

We have two new releases in our Dragonblood line. These new miniatures are for the Dark Mariner faction in the new ShadowSea game. They include the following:

DBM063 Vanguard Commander $14.99 USD
DBM062 Vanguard Warrior II $13.99 USD
Both pieces are available in three-packs for additional savings. We've also added a three-pack option for the first Vanguard Warrior. There is also a Vanguard Collection available for all three models.

Both pieces are sculpted by Bob Olley, and measure 40mm (for 28mmm play). We also have several new Dark Mariner greens by Bob that are in the molding process, and will be released in the coming months.

Those are actually kind of sexy.

On a related note Cavalcade Miniatures wins my coveted "most random miniature range" award. Although I do now have the resources for the Minotaur Vs Ming Chinese Vs Somali Pirate scenario I've never wanted to run.

I'm torn. There are loads of things to like on these minis, but the photos almost look too busy. It's hard for me to tell what's going on with them. Though part of that could be the painting.

Their Cephalid Telepath looks like it could make a cool retinue model for a Dark Eldar or some chaos sorcerer.

And at only $8 for a 32mm tall fig, the price is nice too.

Warriors of Chaos "counts as" stuff is what I'm thinking of too.

These models are too nice to NOT use somehow!

Wow, I like this stuff.

+1 to Alpharius's comment; I got to find a use for them somewhere.

I've loved Cavalcade's Shadow Sea line for a while now, but I still haven't found a legitimate use for them. Working on it, though.
