It looks awesome! You've painted the details very carefully and the outcome is great (love the rust effect). Only minus side is that the skin is little too "boring" and it doesn't stand out from the fur (or vice versa).

Btw great idea how you glued him on base, solves the ranking problem

CSM 40k : ~4.3k
Skaven : FB ~2,5k
Daemons FB & 40k ~1,7k
Lizardmen 1k

Lotsa chaos

Yeah, I have problems with the skin. But don't really know how to make it stand out more without making the model to.. busy? (if that's what you call it.)

Awesome! That's the kind of painting that brings me happines. Also, very impressive glow effect on that warpstone. Btw, have you seen my skaven warlord? He has similar tones of colour.

Maby some idea for me sometimes, something like that. Already greenstufft the warlock engineer from IoB with a sword and a pointing finger, looks alright.
Anyhow..

More critique ;D please, it only makes me better and better. (and that's kinda what I want.)

Maybe if you added some dark spots on the skin; not a lot, just a few patches here and there. Or perhaps scar lines.

The Warp Stone and the surrounding cracks are top notch.

I'm thinking of those patches, maybe doing them with a wash or so?
Got to go do some testing on some random models ;D

Anyhow, thanks everybody for the nice comments! It makes me feel good and sure about what I'm doing.

I think this model looks awesome. I really like the different approach you took with the overall light palette. As for the skin, I really think it looks fine the way it is.

I dont think you need criticism on this model, it looks amazing! I really like the skin tones. All the colors look so smooth and work well together. The green areas are brilliant, fantastic work!

It looks great-The lighter tones give it the impression that it has spent all its life (if you can call it that) underground and is thus pale and slightly sickly.
