Something different for the last update in 2010; Leman Russ Primarch of the mighty Space Wolves!
After reading Graham McNeals wonderful “A Thousand Sons” novel I had to dig out this old mini give it a paintjob...
A mini similar in size and style as my Sanguinius mini- The mini is sculpted (probably) by Scibor. I bought the minis quite cheap from a guy in Russia. IMO one of the best aftermarket Leman Russ sculpts! I used a Storm Bolter from the plastic SW Terminator box.

He looks a little goofy. I think the color palette used lacks the depth necessary to overcome the limitations of the sculpting process.

Honestly, I do not remeber anymore. Sanguinius was bought via ebay from Russia, Leman ( IIRC) also in Russia; Velard minis?
I also got some Primarchs from an Italian sorce, the guys who brought out the "Not-Emperor"...

Really nice work. Sanguinius looks amazing as do the paint jobs for Leman Russ and his fellows. The only thing (as others have mentioned) is that face just 100% ruins that model :(

I've seen this line of models and a few of the other primarchs before and you've done the scultps justice. I appreciate that they're not perfect, so I won't comment on any of the flaws therein, but the paint job is true to what I imagined russ to be.

looks very nice. any trouble ordering it (i assume) from a certain lady in russia? i've considered put in some bids on her stuff but have always wondered about it. being polish, its natural for me to distrust my invading neighbors to the east and west... oh crap.. you're german... um... never mind.
i was surprised to see a thread by you that didn't involve a little WWII walker tank, though.
