Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Please don't do what most bikers seem to do and drive like an idiot (ie driving "between" the lanes, undertaking, etc, etc).

However, that is a pretty cool bike.

Congratulations good sir, and that is a nice looking bike.

Can you use it yet, or do you need to go on and do another test?

Motorcycles always interest me, but alert that sensible part of my brain that dissuades me from doing anything.

I would have learned to ride a motorbike but the practicallity of the car won out.

Nice! I learned to ride on a Honda CMT 400. Nice street bike.

I sold it when I moved and haven't gotten another one and I really miss riding. Maybe being married and having a kid has something to do with that though...

Be careful and have fun.

I ride a Suzuki M50.

It's a lot of fun. Insurance and gas is cheap... I always wear my gear, which includes full face helmet, armored jacket, gloves, boots and sometimes kneepads. I really need to get some motorcycle armored pants soon.

I learned how to ride on a Honda Rebel. It was a fantastic beginner's bike and really taught me quite a bit about riding.

Yes a lot of motorcyclists don't make good riders, they think it's a race track and as such endager themselves and everyone else but car drivers can be just as dangerous, not looking where they're going and driving safe in their ignorance.

ZZR1100, magic carpet. Lovely ride. Fast, agile for it's size, blocks most of the wind with the briliant fairing and all day long comfy.

Congrats on your CBT, don't ride like a dick. One pull from the police within 2 years = instant ban!

I do see some hot-rodding riders on the roads but most of my near-miss is due to cagers. Drivers who do not pay attention, talk on their cell phones, eating or putting on make-up. They are the most dangerous people on the road.

I know when I'm on my motorcycle automobiles will always win because they are 10 times heavier and more stable with 4 tires. I usually stay within the speed limit and away from most drivers unless I'm in traffic.

Elmodiddy, that's a really nice ZZR. I have a coworker that has a ZX14. I'm too old for crotch rockets so I stick to cruisers. My back doesn't hurt as much and my tummy is not on a gas tank... But I do see idiots on cruisers. I've seen at least 2 riding with no hands showing off.

ZZR14's or ZX14's as you have them branded are nice but I like the Zed11's nice sound and I don't have my knees inside my armpits as it's more upright. Like I said all day long comfort.

They are not as bad as the lightweight pocket rockets, ZX6R, R6's etc. I hate them. Feels like I'm gonna break the damned thing.

The one thing which bugs me more than anything else, even the dicks who ride like pillocks are the morons who ride with jeans and t-shirts only! 20mph and above and you're marmite. Had to pick up enough who'd done it and I despise them for their stupidity.

I've been riding for 14 years. My first bike was a black Harley Fatboy - the same one Arnold rode in T2.

Around 2000, I traded it for this one:

My wife and I took our honeymoon on that bike, riding 4000 miles to Yellowstone and back. And realized that what we really liked was those long tours. So in 2006, I traded that one in for:

We rode to Death Valley that summer, 6000 miles round trip, including stops at the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Canyonlands, Arches, and most of the other national parks in the southwest.

I've also ridden it to New Orleans and back, and we're looking to hit the Northeast US this summer.

I ride a suzuki intruder and love every minute of it. Though she did break down the other day. I have to get her running again this weekend before work on monday.

Thanks for catching that. I don't know much about Sport Bikes nor Cruisers either. I've only been riding for a bit over one year.

Yep, Squids... I see plenty of them. Some even have their helmets locked on the bike.

In the UK helmets are compulsory and being a medic I often get to see the mess in summer with riding Gods who end up knocking on His door before they are due.

You should see the guys swerving in between lanes in Seoul with propane strapped to their little bikes. No fear whatsoever in those blokes.

YEEAAAHHH BOI !!! 2009 Suzuki M50. 800HP and learner legal here in Aus. Why anyone gets a 250 to learn on is a waist a money haha.

Motorbikes are so much better then cars. Even just riding down to the shops to buy some food is fun.

Oh, this photo is the "Just bought it" photo. Im no longer on my Learners.

Got two bikes.

GPX750r, she's my usual ride. Proper 1980s muscle bike.

My Honda H100S (the blue one) which is a great laugh.

The other bike was my old CX500 which I no longer have.

Another mission, the powers have called me away. Another chance to carry the colours again. My motivation, an oath I've sworn to defend. To win the honour of coming back home again.

A friend I ride with has a GPX 750, nice bike but feels lumpy and needs a straight line, even with rebuilt suspension he finds it can't cope. He complains when we hit the B roads but still tries to keep it going.

I like them though, same as my Zed, they can pull a house down with the torque.

The Honda 100S was my first ever bike!! Loved it. The S was supposed to stand for sport! I was pulling wheelies in front of my mates and front end landed hard and bent the forks. Dumped it in a bush and walked away then bought an RGV500 a month later!!

I lived there 4 years...I have a photo in a box somewhere of a guy, on a scooter, with a giant pane of glass.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

It's the funniest gak ever. I don't think anything tops the warped world of Asian roads.

Hehe, yes mate - I always think of the GPX as being more sports-tourer, than sports bike.

When me n the mrs worked at Minehead Butlins over the summer, we did the trip from there to Nottingham FOUR times, two up on the GPX in a mixture of weathers! Coped no problem and not too uncomfy if you get off for a coffee every hour.

And yeah, I have to say, even if the H100 has only a tenth the power as the Ninja, I'd say it's even more fun to ride. Do 20 and it feels like you're doing 60.

Whereabouts in UK you, mate? If we're ever in same area we'll have to have a bit of a ride out/WH game.

Yes, sounds good. I'm in Bedfordshire mate, but as soon as Easter arrives I'll be on a busman's holiday to hot dry dusty places of the world. I should be back end of August though to catch the last of the British summer.
