Hi all.
Just wondering if there's anyone out there that have used Scibor Miniatures in the past?
How detailed are they? Are they good quality?
I'm curious as I recently stumbled across the Chaos Rotten Lord and believe it would be
an ideal addition to a Nurgle plague that is infesting my mind.

Cheers.

I've recently bought about 50 resin bases from them. The quality is very good, just the base edges needed some filing. I don't know about the actual models though.

They could use some training in the communications-department. I received not confirmation e-mails, apart from the paypall details. Not even a confirmation of payment or a notice that the package had been shipped.

All in all I'm very satisfied by the bases, but was a bit anxious when I didn't hear from them in 2,5 weeks. (then the package just arrived at my doorstep)

I picked up their "celtic warrior"... kind of a Celtic space marine... quality was excellent, shipping was timely. No problems here.

Scibor is a one-man operation (in Poland)... so sometimes his customer service is lacking... but his models are fantastic.

I've bought several on ebay and many conversion bits at CMON. He even did some additional sculpting to one for me at my request, for free.

Now I just need to acquire the painting skills worthy of painting up the models!

Out of curiosity, I looked on line. Quality is excellent IMO,although a bit oddball in places (Santa Killer,? Easter Bunny??). Some superb Dwarves (and some chaosy dwarves for those with long memories...), and a great looking GUO analogue called "Big Fat Uncle"..

A little while ago I got the "celtic armors" set. It took 3 weeks to get to the US. not bad coming from Poland.

They were very detailed. Crisp and clean with almost 0 bubbles/flaws.

However, IMO the proportions werent quite right when I put arms/heads/etc on them. I ended up selling them instead of painting and finishing them.

That being said, I wouldnt hesitate to order other products from them. If you like something they have go for it, you should be pleased with what you get.

Was it "just a little off everywhere" or was it something specific? Looking at them I'd guess that the legs were too short and the torso too wide but it's hard to tell.

Actually almost the opposite of that. Without having them in front of me...the thing I remember most was the chest seemed too narrow. Also, the area behind the head/helmet didnt rise up like a regular terminator, so the heads looked a bit odd. In all it made the arms look too big, and the heads a bit too small. I tried the regular SM arms, but they were way too small, so they are definatley made to go with terminator parts, but just slightly off.
