It’s a shame you are having to get rid of it. It’s a beautiful piece. Maybe let one of those who inspired your work take it. There are a lot of names graffitied on it. I know if it was me I would be honored to have it. And I bet those with their names on it feel the same. Again fantastic piece.

You builds are great. Those arms look very tedious. Can’t wait to see the finished product. You have a great attention to detail.

Wow. I just can't wrap my head how much you get done. Proper blink and you'll miss it. And of course you have ridiculously high expectations of yourself. I'm stealing the Beware the Beast graffiti, btw.

Great job on the Necro'-foot-thingie. So many great touches throughout.

Smashing work on the robo-arms. Makes me wish mine were cooler-looking in the ol' workshop.

I dont check in and Bam, all this work done. Your Necromunda terrain is so good Cam I just dont have the words to say how happy it makes me. I will 3rd or 4th it how cool the mech arms look such a realistic feel to them. I would say keep up the good work but you keep surpassing yourself over and over again. Thanks for sharing it all!

Same here! The rate Cam' turns out his stuff just boggles me!
All very high quality too, the mechanical arms are great, properly lovely necromunda terrain; Cam' continues to 'knock it out the park'!!

I'm loving all your underhive terrain Cam', theres not really anything i can say apart from 'keep doing what youre doing!'

Not where I should be

Thanks everyone. bunch of dafties.

So had to go to the Hospital this morning for Fracture Clinic, last visit they don't want to see me again, over to the Physio's now. Good/Bad news, they recon I will be off for a few weeks yet.

So this afternoon I started mucking about with the interior paint. I know this may seem strange, many/most people complete a model before painting, and I have only done 1 part of several, and that to only a basic level. I do this to make sure I am happy with design and finish, mainly because I do not want to waste too much material.

Start with a nice clean paint job....

Lets scrub that floor, wet toothbrush...

Notice I do not scrub areas where there would be no wear..

Add some detail paint, hazard stripes etc. please note how rough I am on this, yes I know I have masked it, but just look at how rough those stripes are.

And here is a mistake, my impatience has given me an issue, the plaster was not fully dry and the paint has come away with the masking tape, bugger!

Not an issue....Another coat of green....

Some roughing up with brushes and damp tissue..

Also wanted to make it look like the steel work was once yellow....dabbed on white..

Then painted the yellow over it and after a scrub, I am sponging on black .

Sponged over some metallic, messed up the rubber matting on the steps and gave it awash of Angry Rex.

I know that the stairs are not really brilliantly to scale, but I tried to get them so they can be used...

You may have noticed I washed the walls!!?

So happy with where I am going I can now start adding detail and making the other sections of the factory.

My point earlier with the rough painting, was, you should remember where you are going and not get fixated on accuracy when it is not overly necessary. I could have spent another hour on those stripes masking off carefully and all, and then I am going to attack it with a toothbrush!!! And even then the masking tape I did use ripped all the paint off, but in the end, no worries adds to the worn effect. Guess what I am trying to say is don't get too hung up an perfection, compromise a little for speed and efficiency. Keep in mind your end goal. You tell me do my hazards look terrible?

(Don't get me wrong here folks, there is a time and place for accuracy, I will happily spend an entire day putting checkers on my orks or spend days riveting to the millimetre on an imperial tank.)

Oh and finally, hehe, Sir Donlad has posted this, worth a look folks.
Spoiler:

Thank you for looking and as always completely open to C&C.

There's a reason we called the Physio guys 'Bonebreakers' when I was actively parachuting- if something wasn't wonky when you went in, it sure was when you came out! On the other hand, they are an important part of the healing process- hang in there!

Absolutely brilliant idea on the stairs- reasonable to scale and totally playable- brilliant.

Thats a tiny track unit, thank you OMN for the idea.

And some more robotic arms, these are made using florist wire, and beads, and a small bit of styrene for the claws.

More soon, thanks for looking in.

Thanks all.

@ Skalk, been a bit distracted last few days, going to knuckle down now.

@ Boundless...

Not sure were I will go with him, but for now clean up duty...

OK this is starting to add a few items to the interior.

The "brief" for this is a tables worth of terrain, set on a Imperial Forgeworld, but it has been taken over by Chaos, so this is going to look grungy, but going to get worse as I think this one will have been visited by Papa Nurgle. Building it straight to start with and will destroy it later.

Second section floor in...

Well tomorrow might be a struggle, got to go in to work for an interview thingy. But once that is done, I plan on really knuckling down on this, as Skalk pointed out, I am falling behind.
