We've all seen it, I'm personally responsible too. I have 6 Deffkopta's built and painted with the TL Rokkits on them but when it comes to a game I usually only field one or two with a TL Big Shoota and a Buzzsaw.

So now I'm going to remedy my lack of wysiwyg and build up a Deffkopta with the right weaponry, perfect for alpha strike orks!

Progress!!

Here's the weaponry. Its the Buzzsaw from the KillaKan set, and the Deffgun 'A' from the burna boy/lootaz sprue. I'm thinking of taking off the 'guard' from below the buzzsaw, but I still have time while the Kopta gets the clothespeg treatment...

Looks a promissing conversion. What clan will these belong to? Or are you working on a personal warband? Anyways, I'd like to see your other tuff, espeially the other deffkoptas you've got.

- Scrazza - Thanks for the reply. I have a bit of a speed freaks army going on, I call them Trogdor the Burninator and his boyz. Evil Sunz clan, but not too sticky on the colour schemes. I'll post some 'family photos' when this guy is painted!!!

Here's the weaponry complete!! I'm going to keep the pilot basic for this Kopta, next one I might try something more ambitious!!

Really liking the innovation with the copters.

Probably just me but the most recent phot almost looks like the dark reapers from the eldar army. Just fater they have been to the gym for a few more years!

Regarding the copter, it certainly has the right weapons, but the placement of the shootas would tend to get in the way of the buzz-saw. I would recommend at least moving the shoota muzzles back a bit to give the buzzsaw some space.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. I'll try to get some more work and painting done on the tankbustas, then get a proper photo taken so you can see the details.
Yeah I was really happy how all the pieces fitted together in the end, orks are great that way, you don't have to try hard to make things look ramshackle and slipshod, just trim your pieces and glue it all together!

Thanks for your input flinty but I reckon the Orks aren't too worried about the shootas getting in the way, they probably won't be letting go of the firing trigger when they're in assault anyway! But this one has given me good ideas for the next one. You gotta run these badboys in pairs....

Thanks Arkasi and everyone for your comments. I did add blastshields to mine, just in the photo they're in profile so you can't see them. The Rokkit boyz are currently half painted so once they're a bit more presentable I'll post a picture!!!

So you did! I think I didn't see them because I think I expected them to extend below the Rokkit as well. Looking forward to paint.

Here's a picture of my work in progress Stompa. It took a while to decide on what gun arm and head to put on him, I'm pretty happy with the results! Prizes go to whoever can guess where the head is from!

ps. has anyone out there seen any good ways of magnetizing arms to the plastic stompa??

Forgive me in a P&M Blog, but here's some fluff...

Many Orks have gained infamy across the galaxy and nowhere have more reputations have become legandary among Orks than on the planet of Armageddon. But there is one story that few know, whispered among the tribes of Blood Axes is the story of the Kovert Kommandos

Led my Sarge Kovert, or Sarge K. as he liked to be known, the exploits of this unlikely band of Kommandos are unique.
It was discovered that as well as having the skill of infiltrating behind enemy lines and staying hidden, the Kovert Kommandos were adept at bringing along friends with them.

This unconventional practice first took place when the Kommandos found a vital imperial supply line that passed through a canyon. The Kommandos lacked the heavy weaponry to tackle a supply convoy but not to be put off they convinced some Loota boyz to camo up and managed somehow to sneak them through to a hidden location on the bluff overlooking the canyon. How Sarge K. kept the Loota's from shooting too early no Ork will ever know, but they waited until the signal, the Kommandos blew both ends of the canyon, causing a rockslide and cutting off the convoy, and then the Loota's went to work!
Sarge K. and his boyz didn't bother to show the Loota's the way back to Ork lines, they had found a plan that worked and were going to make it happen again, besides, the Loota's were happy while they had something to shoot at...
