Current Project is my new Imperial Guard Velkyrie that i have converted to be used with my Traitor Guard Legion the Crimson Wing!

Painted the interior before assembly and primed the outside so far!

Lol its one of the head options that come with the Wargamefactory Shock troopers, i'm using the great coat bodies with gas masks for my standard troops, the large face plates for heavy weapons and standard cadian bodies with the rubber face masks as Penal Legion. i'll upload some more pics later, as for colour schemem it will be black and deep red with gold area's picked out ^_^

lol, 2 box sets of shock troops and 3 boxes of cadians, you think thats bad you should see the rest of my shelves! All the left over sprues from my 9000pt chaos legion!! ^_^

Lookin great, love those vehicle conversions!

I'm fixing to start putting my Wargames Factory Greatcoats together soon too, we may be some of the only people who managed to get our hands on these

I like the kit bash you did the the standard Cadians, those heads make good looking PL troops.

What codex do you use? Is it the IG one or do you mash the IG and Chaos codexies (?) together?

to More Dakka, i hope not! i still want another box! lol and i just use the standard IG codex, just ignoring loyal units like commsisars etc lol

HURR HURRR!! For a Chaos Commissar (not that you can get one) all you would have to do is add some pointy things and paint him in a black coat as they are evil enough!

Looking good.

The only Criticism would by the winged skulls on the lasguns and other weapons, a bit imperial, you might want to remove them before painting.

Otherwise it is an amazing looking army.

Looking good. The only thing spoiling them is the large amount of mould lines still visable which will spoil them when you start painting.

Very nice start on the Chaos Valk. I think your spike placement is perfect on the model. I chaos oconography also looks like a natural bash/fit. Excellent work

I know what you mean, I think Warstore still has them, don't wanna get into that company's politics here in your thread or anything.

Have you based (glued and flocked) any of these guys yet? I'm wondering what they're going to look like because of the way the feet are molded together on that stand.

Yeah i really like the FW malitia Ogryn, plan on getting at least 3. My ideal setup when i get round to buying it will be to use the FW malitia command squad, FW Malitia as Veteran Squad and Kasrkin vets as stormtroopers. not to mention a nice truck load of Chaosified tanks! lol

Oh! i'll also be getting the FW Malitia enforcer set, 2 will be Penal Commanders while the rest will be torso's for bodyguards and arms for powerweapons on my squad commanders! ^_^

Yeah i'll give you that, hopefully with the black and crimson colour scheme i have in mind they will look less so. My fluff behind them is that they have only recently turned to chaos but where generally a pretty bad lot of guard anyway lol. So while they are traitors only the really hardcore fighters that have survived longer are starting to look really twisted and evil. The rank and file troops are still pretty cleanlooking but sick sadistic hearts. When i get the rest of the force it should pull together to look more Chaos and less DKOK! ^_^
