made the deal orks for tau.......realized upon looking the ad and his message to me had multiple varying accounts of what i was getting.......been trying to call him now for the past 12 hours to find out what was i actually getting and get this cleared up......I have also sent text messages......as well as PM's on here.......you would think maybe something has happend there and he hasnt had a chance to respond but he has signed on here twice during that time

Has anything been shipped yet? And 12 hours really is not that long of a time, he could be very busy and not have time to deal with 40k stuff right now. Give him more time and don't harass the guy, sending him 40 texts and calling him 12 times is only gunna annoy him you know?

Relax and give it more time man, if he doesn't respond over a longer period of time then you can start to worry but for right now just chill and wait patiently for him to get back to you.

Okay, well firstly I am sorry you are having issues with another DakkaDakka member.

Secondly, you need to clean up your OP. Please use proper grammar and punctuation when typing. It will only further help your case in getting issues resolved.

With that said, I would go ahead and neatly compile any pieces of conversation you have with the other member (i.e. PMs, Texts, Emails...etc). Then post that here to help give some background/facts to your case. It will also help the community in regards to seeing if said member has actually done anything wrong and if so what exactly.

Also, do you have the individual's name? address? home phone number? Age? If under 18, contact the parents yet?

These are all important pieces of information which can help get things cleared up quickly.

If you have a name/address feel free to PM me and I can see what other information I can find out (generally phone numbers, addresses, facebook profiles, and the such).

i do understand that we do get busy.......but when we made the deal i was getting all kinds of text messages from him at wide variety of hours over a couple day period.....

Okay questions:
When did you ship your items out?
What were the shipping arrangements?
Do you have confirmation that your items have arrived at their intended destination?
Did he provide any tracking information?

His advertisement seems close to what he promised, did you request pictures at any time?

i have a confirm number....they havnt arrived yet
he never gave me a confirm number......i asked for it but no luck

i did get text pics.......they were not very easy to make out

Okay well I would then give it at least a week or so. Transaction Reports are generally started after a lapse in time and services/items are not rendered.

Wait out the week. If you are feeling unsure about the deal, you can have your package delivery canceled before it is delivered, depending on how you shipped it. I do not recommend this route necessarily, but it can save you from being "scammed" it that is the situation.



Also this is a perfect example of checking reputation of a fellow DakkaDakka member, seeing how this individual only has two posts count, I would NEVER ship first in that situation.

i did check his reputation and saw the only two posts......but when i spoke to him on the phone and text he seemed cool....so i figured i would give him a chance.....like i said up to the time it was shipped he was easy to contact now forget it.......i am gonna give it till monday afternoon when he says mine will arrive......if it comes in then and all checks out cool......if not i guess i'll have to cancel his.....and if then it comes in and all checks out i will resend.......but it just seems really funny the communication has completely died

but the lists did have a major vast difference.....Kommandos.....24 of them.....they are 5 for like $30

it might help the mods (and therefore your case) and others here to understand if you start from the beginning and copy and paste all the communications IN ORDER from the beginning with a time/date for each. your original post makes it seem like you're nervous because you're trading with someone and they haven't contacted you for 12 hours... i realize you can't transcribe phone conversations so go look at your cell phone log and just paraphrase your version of what was discussed.

transaction reports best serve the OP and others (who might need to watch out about the user in question) if they tell a story. i'm just getting a nervous jumbled mess from your report.

I hate having to do that and recently i have completed a bunch of deals with no problem but something on this just made me think i was gonna get screwed and his actions when i began questioning makes me total believe that now

So he says he will have a confirmation number tomorrow? He also states that it will be delivered tomorrow? The two ideas seem to be contradictions. I would go ahead and cancel the package, but still request the confirmation number he states he has. This would prove if the package was ever even shipped.
