So I'm starting to fall in love with Venerable Dreadnoughts, which is probably a mistake but what can you do. I love the re-roll, everything else is gravy. Anyway, kicking around army ideas that included as many as I could I came up with this, which I think is legal but I may be crazy.

Anyway, I think you would be better off with Vindicators then Predators, and switching at least one of those Plasma Cannons for Assault Cannons.
Otherwise, yeah, It seems pretty decent.

You're right about what everything else - DA Venerable Dreads don't really get much but the re-roll, but they're reasonably cheap. Not sure what I was referring to.
