if you use for instance tankbusta bombs (orks) AP 6+2D6 does it mean that if you use the bombs against a vehicle (rear armour 12) and you roll a 4 and a 2=6+4+2=12 is that a glancing shot then or do you roll another dice for AP and then roll for what happens to the vehicle ?

Tankbustas get 6 + 2d6 for penetration instead of just 6+1d6. So if you only roll a total of six on those two dice, and the vehicle has rear armor 12, you're only getting a glance.

thanks...i dont know what vehicle has 12 rear armour i just made it up

Stormravens in the Blood Angels Codex are AV 12 in the rear.

as are drop pods, but they don't really count
