Menoth Standard Troop is for the Errants, not the regular Knights Exemplar.

This list really feels like it lacks synergy, your model selection is all over the place, the repenter and Vanquisher offer ranged aoe's but Kreoss is a pretty selfish caster in that he really needs all of his focus for his spells he can only really run one heavy jack at a time with out focus starving himself. He offers very little benefit to either of those jacks other than on his feat turn. I would honestly say if you are really sold towards the Jack centric style of play and want to stick with kreoss drop the repenter and pick up another Crusader as they are super cheap beat stick jacks with what they lack in ranged options they make up for in sheer face beating goodness not to mention they can eat a ton of damage before being brought down. I would also recommend dropping the covenant for another vassal as two heavy jacks with vassals escorting them grants you redundancy other wise your opponent will just allocate one good ranged shot to drop your vassal, when there are two it forces them to prioritize or even have to weigh the benefits of going after them vs. going after your choir. Giving them a lot of high threat targets will work to your advantage. Ravengers always work wonders with Kreoss IMHO as he is one of the few Menoth casters that can really bring them to bear as a frightening melee beast that just so happens to me an arc node. Their PS 14 reach spears can really bring the hurt on Kreoss's feat turn when loaded down with 3 focus. My 2 cents.

I hear alot about " synergy" but don't know to use it. What can I do to fix this?
the repenter and Vanquisher offer ranged aoe's but Kreoss is a pretty selfish caster in that he really needs all of his focus
I got the box set and added a Vanquisher. I must need ways of saving/generating Focus.
Jack centric style of play and want to stick with kreoss drop the repenter and pick up another Crusader
Is there a better warcaster for mechs? Harbinger?
dropping the covenant for another vassal
Ravengers always work wonders with Kreoss IMHO as he is one of the few Menoth casters that can really bring them to bear as a frightening melee beast that just so happens to me an arc node. Their PS 14 reach spears can really bring the hurt on Kreoss's feat turn when loaded down with 3 focus.
How about a Wrack? how often does it explode, what triggers it?

Synergy refers to the ways that units cooperate. This generally refers to model interaction and buffing (liek the choid for your 'jacks), but also refers to attack combos (like Kreoss' feat with the Redeemer's sky hammer). The word synergy is thrown around a lot with Menoth.
Some of the Synergies I see in th list above are:
Choir buffing Jacks (defensively on approach, offensively on attack/ feat)
Choir drawing fire away from your main force, which should be able to operate adequately without them. This is what Zhet was referring to above when he said it would be hard to field 3 heavies. They do MUCH better with high focus to boost attacks and damage.
The errants will help screen your caster so you can keep him advancing, and they only get tougher as they die, requiring the opponent to dedicate more of their skilled attacks to the infantry, rather than your 'Jacks and choir. Ideally, they will screen the choir, and take hits before Choir does. Kreoss can cast defender's ward on them, to make them last even longer.
Menoth has a lot of units that cooperate (reclaimers to harvest souls, covenant to grant fire, etc). And it's these synergies that make a Menoth force more powerful than the sum of it's parts.
With a 'Jack heavy army, look for units that play off of 'Jacks. Choir and vassals are good. A unit to screen and keep your choir safe as you close the distance.
The heirophant will be dropping the cost of one spell, but Kreoss will probably be casting through the arcnode, so his range boosting ability will be less relevant. With Kreoss' 7 focus, that 1 more counts for a third (but unboosted) attack spell, which may be enough to finish a caster off, if your first 2 boosted spells didn't do it, but I think you can get better use out of a solo with more utility.
I love Eiryss because she's a high threat, hard to hit model that can allow me to attack from multiple fronts.

OK: I have too many jacks, for Kreoss. Thanks for going over my roster. I don't want to purschae models I should not use.
I know that the KEE are the main elite unit for menoth. I ordered " KE" when I wanted " KEE". I got confused. There is so much to take in when starting a new game.
How many times have Menoth players go to a turnament, Where the other Menoth have the same list or 75% of it.
Thank you very much for your input. I will study it more closely. -David

Don't worry about it, the KE are pretty cool on their own, and I'm sure you'll get some use for them. The more I play, the more familiar I get with the game, and the more opportunities I see for different protectorate models in different scenarios. Plus, it's important to play with some diversity. You're going to want to change your solos around just for the fun of it after a few victories.

A warning though: Don't get too in love with the KEE's. They are a good way to put the enemy off his balance, and deny some free terrain, but IMO they don't really pack the punch of some other units, and cost a metric crapton of points.
I would stick with a 6-man squad with UA at the 35 pt level.
If you find yourself liking the whole Exemplar theme, think about getting eKreoss. He makes them BEASTS.
