Possessed Khorne Marine Covered in Spikes

I've just finished rescuing an old shape chimera that had seen better days. It was bought from ebay for a few ££ and was badly put together, the turret and gunner was glued solid, flash and mold lines everywhere, it had horrible gloopy paint, glue melts, a few bits missing, plastic showing and was in a generally sorry state.
What it DID have though, was a really good price and room to convert without worrying about messing the model up, hurrah \0/

This is a before shot

Pretty rough...

Anyway, I decided the glued-up turret had to go, so I ordered a few turrets and bits from Old Crow Miniatures, they do some really good stuff, and I also bought a 1/35 vehicle stowage set really cheap.
I already had a few scale metal gun barrels I had ordered in previously, so I decided to use one of these to make an autocannon variant chimera. The gatling gun in the hull is a 'counts as' heavy bolter.

Colours are to match the rest of my regiment in progress, and I wanted a worn and slightly dusty desert look.

Finished it today, I'm sure you will agree its a huge improvement, apologies for my poor quality camera shots (as always), but I hope you like.

I love the Army Sleep Systems on there. It wouldn't surprise me if in the 41st Millenium they still haven't upgraded. Great rescue model.

Very nice weathering and the turret looks great.

Love the targeting lenses on the turret. And great paint job.

The Old Crow stuff is lovely and sleekly hi-tech. I like it. My only concern is the length of multi-barrel showing. A bit long for my personal taste, but a very nice tank!

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
