what strength is a dread with a pair of blood talons?
the blood talons description says they following lightning claw rules which are just reroll failed to wound.
the dread ccw entry in the brb says a pair of dread ccw make the dread st10.
i cant find anywhere that it says the st10 wont apply but i have played it at standerd strength upto now

S10 won't apply as you don't have anything that gives you s10.
A Dread CCW =/= A lightning claw.

I had to read the rules a dozen times to find, what I believe, to be the correct way to play it.
The Blood Talon entry does not mention that it is a DCCW.
The Blood Fist entry Does mention that it is a DCCW.
So the Blood Talons are standard Str.

C: BA page 60: The Blood Talon says it follows the same rules as Lightning Claws, plus some extra stuff, none of which says anything about S10.
Rulebook page 42: Lightning Claws allow re-rolls to wound and ignore armor saves. You also need a pair of them to qualify for an extra attack for having two CCWs.
C: BA page 29 & 85: Dreadnoughts are S6.
The rules for a Dreadnought CCW never come into it.
