Hi guys, just another quickie for the Wamped! comp.

A really fun one to do, and I can't wait to do the others in the set now.

Enjoy!

Orki, all your stuff is awesome. Even this little desert scavenger. Excellent job on the skin tones. I also like that you did great on the base and didn't go overboard just for a goblin.

Cheers guys

Thanks for the commments!

Moltar - Ta mate, I do like a good base and as i'd been playing Fallout:NV recently it wasn't too long before I found the vibe with this fella.

Andilus/PP - Thats the one. He's looting some teef from an Ork Skull (model is from the Theivin Grots christmas release).

Quietus - Thanks mate, though you can! Anyone can learn a technique and practice it til the cows come home, and thats all there is to any skill. The 'art' however is a bit different and we each have our own eye there. Principles can be taught, but ultimately you have to find your own 'soul', unless you wanna paint carbon copy studio jobs of course.

You really wanna step your game up? If you don't have a local you can turn to for tips, then join a mini-painters forum and be prepared for the road of hard knocks.

Constant feedback and self-evaluation is critical, and the best way to learn to swim is often just to jump in!

Haha! He's got a red nose! And looting...from his own side! Epic grotdom! Love it
Question though, picture second from the top, what is that to the left of his nose? That like a zit?

Most of it if I'm honest, the one I commented on 'End of Days' is my fave overall though, love that piece.

What model range did those two come from out of interest?

Cheers! The two main characters are called the Saviour (captured one), and the Forsaker (the badass one). Both are from Kingdom Death minis and have had very minor conversions done.

Apart from the blatant GW corpse cart bodies, all the other little demons and things like the bird I sculpted myself.

This peice won me the Kingdom Death painting competition on the Wamp forum, and was also awarded the silver medal for best base of 2010 in the annaul Wamp awards (I was pipped by Picsters "Hunter or Hunted", the slayer sword winning duel from GD germany). Its a massive honour for someone like myself who's only just got going!

*pinch*
