profile: just the same as normal boyz....but cost is 12p

mob:5-10

weapons: choppa+zapp pistol

options: up to three models may have zapp armour at a cost of 45p

character: up to one model may be upgraded to a nob for 53p, this nob has a zapp armour but may still take additional wargear(but no additional weapons)

protection: if in a speedfreaks army they may be transported in a wartrukk or a battle wagon, the battle wagon has to take a zapp gun as a weapon option. if not in a speedfreak army thay may have 'eavy armour at a cost of  4 points per model

i dont think the points are alright, still need to change them, but first need to find someone who wants to play against them

oops forgot to mention: zapp armour is mega armour but the shoota is replaced with a zapp canon and they may fire even if the walk(but they may only assault d6 inch if they do so) if normally a grot would be killed, a strength 3 hit is scored on they wearer

an zap pistols: attack: d3 strength d6 ap 3+d3 range 12 inch and automatic hit

What, pray tell, is "zapp armour"?

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Ok let me get this right?

Shot(s)=D3.
S=D6.
Ap=3+D3.

First of all Attack is a hth stat. So I suggest something simpler like an Assault D3 weapon as heavy D3 would be a waste.
What is the normal Ap of the Weapon when shooting at troops?

So firstly I need to roll 6 on a D6 then 5 or 6 on another to have myself a S12 gun against armour? What am I trying to take out with this at 12 inches?

Ok this gun has me confused. What is it good for?

wel its just a pistol and against normal infentry you use ap=3+d3

and well i always wanted to have a total random weapon

its a pistol, its not well... made for going through tanks is it? for fighting against tanks you take the strength+d6 the ap i used is for fighting against armour of normal troops, so the armoursave it shoots through is 3+d3(so the higher you roll on this one the worse it is)

Yes but random Ap is just rediculous...against Marines they are always getting their save. Against anything else who really cares.
Zzap guns are used to bust open tanks (so the theory goes) so when you mention Zzap boyz it was hard not to think there might be a link as Orks have trouble against vehicles and not against infantry.
I'm all for totally random but this has very little going for it.

you noticed that up to 3 models may have the real zapp gun instead of the zap pistol( the zapp pistols are just there to stay in the theme, you cant give 10 models a zapp gun can you?)

Up to 3 models can have a Zzap gun?
Zzap guns are mounted anti tank guns. You still seem to have this all mixed up.
Plus who wants to mix anti infantry and anti armour guns?
