I've worn a couple (a mid seventies Brooks, a loaned schott perfecto from the mid 90's, and an "xelement" perfecto clone) and I've just fallen in love with them. I wear them everywhere, even in demented situations (shoveling snow at -4, walking around in the summer. Etc). I only own the cheap xelement one as if now, which sucks. I plan on buying another schott perfecto in a couple months (six hundred dollars!) though. I absolutely recommend them. It's just simply the best thing on the market. Made in USA too!

Anyway, post your jacket/ discuss jackets. Whatever.

I'm not a big fan of ski jackets so currently I wear a dark read hoodie that has the inner lining of a ski jacket, that way I can keep myself warm without the jacket look.

Personally I love Motorcycle Jackets/leather jackets...I only recently retired my " spikey punk" jacket and now were one like this...

I also have a "city coat" similar to this..

But this is my "everyday" jacket..

I have one of these Icon motorhead jackets in yellow/black, armored shoulder and elbow cups, built in foam back pad. Shoulder flow vents, back panel vents, snaps for armored over pants and gloves, chest pocket for MP3 player. Comfortable to ride in from 30-100F.

Ah, a spiked jacket any pics? I was thinking about doing that to a used jacket. I even found a nice place to buy bulk studs

Look daft unless you're on a bike. Still look daft when you're on a bike. Although when I ride I wear a Spyke one piece - which looks even dafter.

For everyday wear it's a paddock fleece, or a snowboard jacket for winter.

I love motorcycle jackets (Not the fold-over Harley style, but rather the striped-sleeve Crotch Rocket style). Bomber-style and 3/4ths length simply look too old-school for me, and trenchcoats have many negative connotations that make them look awful on literally anyone.

I wear a cheap pleather one. It's more about the look than the quality (I don't actually ride a motorcycle), and I don't like to spend much money on clothes. Strangely enough, I get a lot of compliments in public on it, even though it was only forty bucks.

I wear a Harley leather fold-over that my dad bought in the late 70's for when he raced karts. After he quit and got a little too round to wear it, he gave it to me about 20 years ago and it's been my main jacket/coat ever since..exhaust burns, fuel stains and all

I love my MC jacket. I got mine when I was stationed in Germany. It has a beautiful red inner lining, and studs everywhere.

Even in Florida, I'll wear my MCJ whenever I can.

I bought a harley-style one in the early 90's, while I was really high. It turns out that everyone and their idiot buddy will constantly give you gak about it until you get rid of it, and for a month afterwards.
"Where's yer motorcycle, hippie?"
"Yer in one o' them biker gangs, ain't ya?"
"You ain't got no motorcycle? You a wannabe or what?"
"Hey, can I score a dime of crystal and hit you back for it Monday when my welfare check comes?" (I seriously considered walking around with tiny little bags of drano at that point. Seriously, I did...)

Heh, I never got any crap over mine. You just need to look intimidating enough while wearing it that no one opens their mouth

I think if you aren't well built you shouldnt wear leather jackets. I think FITZZ mentioned he was 6.4 and well built so it is understandable he wears a leather jacket. There's nothing more pathetic than seeing a skinny guy wearing a leather jacket, looks like he's borrowed his clothes off daddy...

I wear motorbike jackets.

I don't think I've worn many jackets other than motorcycle jackets over the last fifteen years. Part of riding a motorcycle is having a jacket that can protect you from road rash in the case of a spill.
