For those of you who haven't read the GW blog today, it featured a humorous video of crazy russian in O&G costumes having a tea party.
Here's my question: GW, a very serious company, who's humor (Besides certain lines in codexs) is as bad as it comes by, found and used something funny.
To be honest, I think it's funny. But will the older generation of wargamers think it is as funny?

As a member of the "younger generation" I do not find this funny.

While not exactly 'funny, it is an attempt at humor that I have no seen from GW in quite a long time.
Not trying to knock GW's attempt at humor, but this attempt feels like the type of thing a person who people normally think has a stick up their ass does in order to prove to everyone else that they are 'cool'.
I think GW has too long held a rather nasty public image for them to expose a lighter side and for people to consider it with anything less than shocked surprise and a little bit of ridicule.

Maybe this is how they burn off some steam because all they are hearing from the gaming community is that the company and the game sucks, yet people still buy it and play it. Maybe they are just trying to express the frustration of a game whose discussions reach a passion level that many games can't hit.
