My Cathedral so far...... I still have a lot of work too do too it but this is what the main structure wil look like.

Any ideas / suggestions ???

Looks really great. You could add more floors/levels in the interior. Tiling the inside would really add to it also, cut up squares of card, or score tiles in craft foam sheets or foamboard.

I do love the scale of the building as I mentioned in your other thread.

If you are looking for ideas - perhaps print out some stained glass images on OHP sheets and fit them into the windows?

You can also cut them up into shards to scatter in the ruins so it looks like the windows have been blown out.

In terms of rubble for the interior, I would suggest a high alter, a pulpit and ruined benches. Maybe a few plinths with saints on and some ruined statues?

I think a load of ruined pews would be a winner. As for the floor levels remember that a cathedral is open in the middle but usually has arcades running the perimeter.

Yea i got a lot of work too do in the interior, i like the idea of pews and statues really awsome i will be doing that soon.

I was thinking of using warhammer movement trays for the floor too give it a kindaTilied look but i like "Wazzdig Dagga's idea better its cheaper.

As for more floors thats planned too im only gonna have one more floor though continuing along were the lower floor currently is.

Nice idea SilverMK2 stained glass windows is a winner! and as for an alter im currently working on a small coffin thing for the rear since the cathedrals dedicated too some as yet nameless saint.

The card is a great method.

If you are a real glutton for punishment, you could also design a mosaic (in colour for extra points and hardships) to go on the floor

A mosaic umm i like the sound of that ill get my Girlfriend too do it shes the artist around here.

I got the columns from my local store there made by a company called "Battlefield in a box" they make really good terrain.
