I absolutely loved the Warhammer Fantasy Arachnarok Spider. I hate all things Fantasy. So I was presented with a quandary; how do I incorporate it into my Dark Eldar army. It could easily be a Talos or Parasite Engine.

After much contemplation I decided not to do any conversion. I mean why couldn't a Haemonculus just make a giant spider from scratch. Or adapt an alien one to its purposes. So without further ado here is how it came out:

By the way the model is brilliant and stupendous. It has perfect instructions and just the right cross between a spider and a crab. As an added benefit I am using all the small spiders on the sprew for Razorwing beasts. I can't think of anything quite so scary as a horde of spiders eating through your power armor.

Perfect color choices, excellent contrasts, the eyes are a particular strong-point. This is wonderful work.

That's gorgeous!

Would have loved to see some drug injectors and/or chains and superfluous spikes on there to make it look more Dark Eldar-y, though. Something to make it look like it's been enslaved.

I do like the idea of spiders in a DE army (I might have to steal it!). Gives it something of a D&D drow vibe.

It would be nice to see some sort of haemonculus interaction. Even if it just chains or barbs around the model. Or a seat with a Haem. sat on it!

Dude, I love that spider (running 3 in my Goblin army). I love your version of that spider (beautiful paint job). I'm all for more of those spiders every darn place I look.

But, isn't it slightly freaking huge for a Talos?

I am not familiar with the size of this model. Isn't it too gigantic for use as a Talos?

Agreed. You could -so- "Dark Eldar" that thing up. Make it look like it just got out of some sort of cross between Hellraiser and the Weapon X program.
These things run on pain. Torment the poor beast. Make it want to lash out at anything nearby and cut itself while listening to Linkin Park.

Nice colors and great pain job. Just needs to tie to Dark Eldar some how more.

Stop blowing my mind. It's awesome. I'd love to see that in a match against an arachnophobe.
