Ive looked into some but all ive seen are games makes units just get pinned or die so theirs not much you can do.

Also i id like a game that pretty flexible and not the same meaning the races aren't about the same.

What sort of game do you want?

Dirtside 2, is generic and therefore very flexible and what is more is free to download. It is good set of rules but I am a fan of GZG's systems (Full Thrust, Stargrunt).

Of course these is Epic Armageddon but models can be tricky to find.

As mentioned there is Future War commander but in my opinion this Warmaster variant feels wrong somewhere.

Finally try Command Horizon quick decisive rules supported by some lovely miniatures

I'd reccomend FWC. I haven't had time to get in a proper game but I've had a detailed look at the rules and it seems superior to the alternatives.

They managed to make a good combination of infantry, vehicles and aircraft whuch encourages you not to just play one type.

The rules for creating units are also very well done. i have been unable to find a model I couldn't produce rules for.

It's a fine ruleset, but it doesn't have the right feel for future combat IMHO. It's WW2 with lazors tacked on.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

Another vote for FWC.

Does have a sci-fi feel in my view. It plays very differently to the WW2 and Moderns version of the rules. I have all three sets and have been playing each one since they were first released.

Great set of games. Well my club seems to enjoy them anyway, but we do prefer our sci-fi to be 'gritty realism' (think Aliens) rather than gothic space opera.
