Hi guys. I just posted this to CMON, my first. Also my first mini posted here. I've had a lot of anxiety over posting images online. Oh well. The CMON posting isn't viewable as of the time of this posting by a normal search (status: waiting). It's the first NMM mini I've painted I'm not completely embarrassed about. Comments appreciated.

Wow... you should really post more...
Seriously though you must have spent ages drybrushing

Dwarves-about 2000 points, most unpainted. Kill me now.

Yes, I play Dwarfs. Yes, I have a hoard of treasure and live in a mountain. And yes, I am shorter than nearly all of you, STOP TEASING ME!!!

The sword is pretty pro. The model is glossy in some areas; I'm wondering if you used a bit too much slow-dri? Nice mini.

Thanks for comments

No drybrushing on this guy.

@Bizmo: Yeah, the gloss...I hit it with Krylon Matte spray and it's still glossy. I'm thinking Testors Dullcote will help, no?

Need a better camera. But agreed, the picture could be better. I'll work on that.

No way Geno, close-ups look really nice, the sword is a focal point to this mini and as a first time out on the NMM it's really effective.

The blue-red-gold color scheme works nicely on this.

Don't feel anxious about posting pics, we want to see more.

Looks pretty good, Don't know why you have such a low score on CMON though... I know most of my stuff doesn't look as nice.

Wow thanks guys! That encouragement hit the spot.

I was originally planning on just doing just one mini in this way, for grins, but now I'm tempted to do the whole unit like this. Maybe even try to sell it on ebay. It definitely seems like the time it will take to paint all of them will net me about a dollar an hour when all is said and done.

Nice work. NMM is incredibly tough to do well and your highlights look great!

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

The Dude - "Jackie Treehorn treats objects like women, man."

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."
