Hi folks,

I'd really appreciate some feedback on the following mini. It's a conversion of the AoBR Captain using bits and bobs I had lying around.
I've tried to stick with the avian theme with regards to the eagle backpack, dual LC (talons) etc. Only thing missing is a jump pack I guess!
Anyway, hints/tyips on the paint work would be great

Wait is that the AOBR captain? If it is wow that is a great change. If not than it still is an awsome model.

The colors really work well with each other.

Thank you for your kind compliments - really means a lot to me as I've slowly been getting back into the hobby after a few years hiatus.

...Just need to get up to speed with the 5th Edition rules then I can start actually playing again haha.

@zxwarrior - yes, it is the AoBR body/cape etc. However, the torso was replaced with one from the SM Commander box. The helm also came from there.

@Tadhghouze - The wings are from Azrael's Watcher in the Dark companion. I just snipped them off as I never painted up the figure.

@niallkissick - The lightning claws were done with the following:

Base coat Chaos Black
Base coat Dark Angels Green
Lightning marks Snot Green
Highlight Scorpion Green
Highlight Skull White

The method is shown on Part 3 of 'Sergeant El's Way of Painting a Space Marine' which can be found on Youtube
I actualyl used Vallejo Game Colours but off the top of my head I can't remember the names hence why I've written the GW equivalents haha.
