I cant ever get the decal on the transfer sheet on to my model. The instructions on the back are really not that good,When i go to put it on the decal breaks and gets ruined. If somone can give me more detailed directions it would be greatly appreciated.

I was watching a youtube video, I think it was Les's, and he uses 2 different solvents to get the decals on. One to make them slide into place, and another to make them adhere correctly. Gloss varnish also I guess.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItZlvN1-MBY
Lester uses a product called Microset

The process ideally goes like this:

1) Paint over the area where the decal goes with a gloss varnish. This provides a smooth surface for the decal to adhere to.

2) Soak the decal in water for 45 seconds. Yes, I know the directions say 30. I find the decal doesn't fight me near as much when soaked longer.

3) I haven't used it, but apparently there is a product called Mircosol that helps the decal adhere to curves better. I don't know if it gets brushed on, or if it substitutes for the water bath, but what it does is thin the decal a bit. It also might make the decal more fragile...

4) Using a stiff (but not too stiff) brush, push the decal off the backing onto the mini and into place.

5) Apparently Microset helps the decal adhere faster, but again I haven't used it.

My job here is done.

I heartily second Micro Sol. I had issues with decals before I started using that----it's night/day.
