So one of the abilities the Jokaero Weaponsmiths can do is improve all the members of their unit's Armor Save by 1 for the game. This roll occurs when the unit deploys.

What if an IC with a 2+ Armor Save is part of that squad when it deploys? Would they gain this benefit if it was rolled? Is there a rule against 1+ Armor Saves (didn't see one in the FAQ but don't have my BRB nearby).

It would be kind of cool to see 'nigh invulnerable' Jokaero-modifed Termie or Artificer armor...

Saves can't be made to go better then 2+, invul, armor, FNP or otherwise. It's somewhere in the BRB. WBB on the other hand, not being a save...

Yes, oddly enough there is a rule against having an armour save better than a 2+. it states it cannot be done.

Very early on, page 8 or 9 potentially?

I suggest you don't believe anything posted by thedarkavenger unless confirmed by other regular posters here at Dakka. He has shown he is incapable of basic English comprehension.

The Jakaero ability actually just gives a 5+ invul save unless I'm missing something...

The Reinforced armor "inconceivable customization"(a d6 result of 3) lowers other members' Armor Save by 1.

Well, I can remember in some Tempus Fugitives-datasheet, there were rules for primarchs with primarch armour: 1+ armour save ( roll of 1 always fails), so I thought it would be able to save on 2+ even against plasma guns and other AP 2 stuff...


The jokaero wording indeed... sucks!
I think that your armor save is completely changed ( i.e. from flak armour to carapace armour, or carapace armour to power armour equivalents..), so Servitors could save against AP 4 weapons.
It does not state to "+1" your armour save rolls...

@35 points and a 1/6 chance* that the armor is upgraded: I do not think it will be all that game Changing.

Heck the same 1/6 chance* to get it is there when 2-3 Jokero are taken; and there is a 0% chance when 4 or more are taken.


*That 1/6 chance also has a 1/6 chance to get 2 more chances of 1/6.
