It usually is worth the money, but sometimes you get a dud.

The thing to realize it is really is random. There's no telling what you'll get. I got an entire Sentinel, all the weapons and everything, in one and the other I got at the same time had some Warmachine bits.

If you just want a bunch of bits you can use for converting--you can't go wrong with one though.

Got one on a whim the other week when ordering paint. Bag was most indeed packed to bursting and had a lot of really cool bitz in it. I wouldnt buy this hoping to get something specific but I would get it if you had some extra cash and want to be surprised. Really I got several full marine's worth of stuff (BA and DA and a few termy parts) lot of guard pieces, some orks, eldar tau some fantasy chaos and high elves too. I plan to grab one anytime I actually order from "Thewarstore" just because it was cool to get a lot of random parts.

Like a lot of grab bag purchases, this one is best if you can "spread it around". If you and 4 buddies cough up $5 each, I can almost guarantee that each of you will walk away with $5 worth of stuff you want, where you might not feel that you got your $25 worth if you buy it alone.

I got one once I was happy with it. It helps if you collect a bunch of different armies, especially Orks/ Chaos as you can often find a use for all the bits. You can always trade the bits around or put them in your box.

There is another one they have had, a SUPER MONDO bag with vehicle sprues, but only at certain times.

Honestly if the only army you have is Necrons or something maybe you are not interested. But if you are into Space Marines, Chaos, Guard, Empire, Orcs and Goblins and build terrain and stuff -- hey man you can't go wrong. Think of it as being like adding to your bits box although you will probably get a bunch of minis with it.

I really REALLY wish you could select 40k or fantasy parts. I don't play fantasy at all and the one bag I ordered was half filled with plastic horses and archers

but the payment they ask of this shippings....

PFFT i could only imagine the shipping cost to the Warp (ie: Australia). I have a few contacts in the US so they can probs ship on the cheap for me hopefully.
