Middle TN

This list is made from all my leftover bits, pieces, and bodies not currently in a list. I would love for all this "leftover" stuff to form an effective army list. I still have 2 techmarines, a LR, a LRC, and lots of old termies that I can throw in.

The Hammer

Iron Halo, Artificer Armor, (from master, 45 points) Storm of the Emperor's Wrath,(from Epistolary, 6 points due to Fury becoming first power) Plasma Pistolx3, (from tactical sergeants, 30 points) Combat Shield, Plasma Pistol (from assault sergeant, 20 points) Melta-Bombs (14 points, from assault squad) Bike Squad Sergeant(78)
= (-193) points you can trim without feeling much pain.

Take the Fight to Them looks like a bit of a weird choice - do you want those Tacticals to be getting into close combat or shooting? Assuming you want an assaulty army, turn the rest of those bolt guns into bolt pistols and close combat weapons. I'd the be inclined to convert your Land Raider into a Crusader and run them both. (2650x2=+530) (edit - I'm silly, Land Raiders don't need extra armour ) Cut the third tactical squad (-215) and you'd have 125 points yet to cut. Extra Armour and Smoke Launchers from the Annihilator (-8), smoke launchers and tank hunter from the vennie (-13), dump the melta gun and trade the flamer on the bikers for melta bombs, (-10) switch cleanse and purify for Honour your Wargear and turn your Devastators into an elite six-man three missile squad with Tank Hunters (-77 - you accidentally paid for an eleventh marine) The plasma guns in the Tactical squads go out along with Cleanse and Purify (-20) since you can't rapid fire and assault.

If you decided to go along this kind of route, you'd have a pair of reasonable assault-type squads and another two armoured targets to (hopefully) distract some fire from your Annihilator and Dread. Along with the Devs, those guys provide covering fire and the bikes run interference/try to kill a tank, while the two LRCs transport the tactical squads into assault range with the Assault Squad hiding behind them. If you're sticking to WYSIWIG and all ready have plasma pistols on your sergeants, you can get rid of the Librarian's Artificer Armour, Combat Sheild and Melta Bombs to keep them.

Overall, it sounds like you have a good variety of options but you could stand a little more focus with this list. In general, watch out for going too nuts on wargear.

The plasma pistols on the sergeants aren't the best call, but if you're going WYSIWYG and aren't up for converting all ready painted figures, you're stuck with them. All I really did in this list is rearrange your guys into units with more specific jobs - either shooting or close combat. Veil and Furious Charge will make your Epistolary a bit of a terror on the assault - six WS5 I6 S5 attacks rerolling to hit and wound! If you converted away the plasma pistols on the sergeants, you could save 30 points from them and the bionics, and the sixth Terminator isn't essential. That and the bionics on the characters would let you take a Tornado with an assault cannon.

Taking some of your advice I came up with this. I'm a little shy about using bionics becuase I hardly ever roll six's . Here's the list, which actually is starting to look more like my original. I plan on using the assualt units for counter assualt rather than head-on charging units.

The Hammer

Looks better. If you can find 16 points, I'd reccomend taking Honour Your Wargear and Faithful Unto Death to give your Devastators Tank Hunters, more just to deploy them after the tacticals as Elites. They only move 6" per turn, so they have a harder time redeploying than vehicles. S9 isn't too bad either.
