A simple question as I was reading the threads about the shield breaker rounds and whether it can affect flicker fields and Ghazghkull's Waaagh:

If you hit a Big Mek with the shield breaker round, will it nullify the kustom force field effect for just the Big Mek, or for every model that gains the bonus from it?

Shield-Breaker: When a wound from this round is allocated to a model, that model loses any invulnerable saves granted by items of wargear immediately, and for the rest of the battle. - pg. 53 Grey Knights Codex

It will do nothing(other than cause a wound to the Big mek).

The KFF is a wargear item that grants all the units inside it's AOE a cover save; shieldbreaker removes invulnerable saves.

Well there's something I learned today, I always thought cover saves were a type of invulnerable save!

No sir - there are four different types of saves:

Armour saves are granted by armour.
Cover saves are granted by cover, going to ground, moving flat-out and certain wargear.
Invulnerable saves are granted by wargear or special rules.
Bullgak saves are granted by the dice gods - my Logan Grimnar passed almost 30 consecutive armour saves in a recent game.

So my BigMek's KFF seems to be giving Bullgak saves.
