I posted this in Painting and Modeling, but since I'm not messing with them anymore, may as well show off what I have here.

So I've been playing around with the colors of the space wolves - I find that Space Wolves Grey is far to bright and Shadow Grey is far too dark. So I mixed the batch and was able to get a nice median color. Anyway here you go -

The last one was the first of the batch I painted, when I was experimenting with the mix. Because of his mohawk, he has become my favorite. Can't wait to get back to the States from this craptastic country (Afghanistan) and get back to work on my Wolves. 43 days left...

I'm truely honored to be compared to the fantastic 'Eavy Metal guys, thank you

The armor I got by doing a 1:1 mix of space wolves grey and shadow grey. I then added more and more space wolves grey for highlights until it was just pure space wolves grey. Yello was just Ivanden Darksun (or was it tausept ochre? cant remember...) and the red was Mechrite Red base with Blood Red painted over. When i get back from Afghanistan I'll take more pictures for you guys, along with adding to my miniatures.

I had an extremely limited color palette at the time. When I get back I'll be getting a spray gun and a whole helluva a lot more paints.

Flesh was based with Ogryn Flesh, then a wash with Dark Flesh, Re-applied some ogryn flesh, added white to the mix for highlights.
