Looking for players for a Medieval RP
crusaders, peasents, nobles, and men at arms required, it's going to be low/zero magic, maby have like orcs and trolls to give it something cool to fight.
I'm going to work on an itroduction to the setting but for just now, have a map

For a story setting you could have some evil, corrupt king or empire go on a huge conquest and what not. The players form a band to try and infiltrate enemy territory and kill their leader. or allow us to be kings of a land and we send are troops to fight. go for the  men!

Well blood moon is winding down now, getting close to a climax, but I can't commit to anything until my exam period is over (I swear I remember typing this last year...) but I can always throw support, and promise of joining in a month or so.
As for ideas, I like the idea of kingdoms; my only issue is that something similar may occur that happened in stalemate, in which it ended up with people throwing obscene amounts of soldiers into each fight, amounts realistically unbelievable, just to make their own protagonists seem impressive. If you were to do that in this Rp, you'd have to have ramifications, such as having a sudden depletion of available soldiers, possible uprisings (People hate it when their husbands and fathers are slaughtered) and mass desertion. But, as I was saying, it could work, especially if we posted positions of armies on the map, and weren't always violent just for the hell of it.
Would also work well if everyone decided not to be the hardest, baddest warrior kings in the whole land, cos y'know, that would make things dull.
If I were to join, I'd much prefer to take things to a smaller scale; have a tribe of nomadic people who followed a tribal belief system. Like a cross between the Gauls, and Native Americans. And if we were to fantasy this bitch up, they'd be... y'know, centaurs or something.

You could be a king if you want, but i'm tempted not to give people armies, then it's not as interesting as it's just them directing people.

I'm quite reluctant to have armies, maby a small band of up to 10 per player, keeps things simpler. Though I like your ideas. I don't think everybody would go a king, because not everyone would like that, I hope if this goes ahead we'll have scouts, men-at-arms, archers, savages, the whole lot, all trying to get there own way
I was thinking of the story as your king's army is on crusade/Jihad/pilage duties over on the other side of the continent, but something goes horribly wrong (ambush, plauge, poisoned water, food destroyed etc.) and you need to make your way back to your own kingdom.
But seeing the failings of other RP's on this board, there will be no arguing with the GM, I will be fair, but I also won't cater to one person. his word is law, his wrath will be terrible, his retribution swift.
