freehand stuff is ace. It's really awesome to see it on tanks and (well, for me) really difficult to do well but you pull it off.

Good stuff! Much better than what I painted up at 12! I like that you're not afraid to do freehand, OSL, and basing... stuff I only picked up RECENTLY...

Keep them coming- love SMs in general, DAs and Sanguinary guard in particular... and you've got gold DAs...

WIN!

1) Excellent work.
2) Excellent work, especially given your age/experience.

It's very easy to tell you've looked into a lot of tutorials and practiced your techniques. It's encouraging to see a kid that focused and disciplined.

And double points for being a Dark Angels successor.

Okay, I really love this army. The paint scheme is amazing and your freehand turned out really well! Keep up the great work. I really like the way every single model looks.

If you want to improve your OSL a bit, it might be worth reading through this tutorial.

They look good, doubly so for a 12 year old. Very good stuff. The conversions look natural and the freehand is decent. The OSL is pretty good too.

If only all 12 year olds could type as well as you. Actually, some 20+ year olds here on Dakka have worse writing.

By the commander I am assuming you mean this guy? He was made out of the Lugft Huron kit from FW while the cape and the lightning claws came from the chaos terminator lord kit. I also had to green stuff the cape to fit the angle of Huron's back. The Deathwing Shoulder-pads are also from FW.

I'll post some fluff along with some pics of my 3rd Company Vets.

I already entered Golden Daemon Youngbloods (this was in 2010) with the Librarian above, which was the best figure I had at the time.
However I didn't get through to the second round.

Do you have any tips on getting my painting skills to a higher level so I can enter this year please?

I would be very thankful of tips on how to improve my painting.

More pictures and some fluff coming soon.

I think that the Librarian would have done far better if you fixed the writing on scrolls, fix that, and it will do fantastically!
