i havent played that set of rules but own the through the mud and the blood ww1 rules and there very good . they have their own you tube channel with three videos dedicated to the sharp practice rules . it shows you step by step how the games played . you should check it out mate .

Got it, played it, didnt like it.

People rave about the Two Fat Lardies rules, and they are suppossed to be great, but for some reason, despite trying most of them, I just dont get them.

They do produce some wonderful resources though.

Worth checking out, I think its a system you either adore, or just dont get. Sadly Im one of the latter.

I do think rules are a matter of personal taste, and just cos I dont like it, doesnt mean its bad. Just it dont float my boat.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll have a look at the youtube channel first and then see if its worth the punt. In my opinion 7 to 12 pounds isn't too bad for a rules set especially since i'll be sculpting the models my self .
