I source my miniature games from boutique mom and pop creators that don't charge for their creations to avoid such problems.

Must catch up on my Necromunda reading. I’ve still not gone through the Raiders book, or the new Palanite one.

And I might as well refresh myself on the Aranthian stuff whilst I’m at it.

New reading specs available for collection tomorrow, so will break them in.

500 quatloos says it pretty much goes back to status quo ante.

I wonder if this hints at the possibility of a plastic Lady Helmawr model:

Ozostium himself graces the battlefield for Aranthian-aligned gangs, whilst Imperial-aligned gangs can set out with Haera or design their own Spyrer leader in a rare Sthenian-pattern rig.

Given that they've made the Aranthus guy in plastic, I fully expect GW to make a dual use Sthenian kit with both Lady Helmawr and generic spyrer bits.

On this, rather than special characters I would love to see a Brat Gang or Noble Gang. The Great and the Good in their Sunday Go to Meeting Best slumming in the underhive for a quick hunt. Yes I know Spryers are supposed to be this, but they wear impractical looking power armor, I want impractical looking silks and gowns.

We are kinda expected to assemble and paint our own models. So yes to cooking our own meal at the restaurant, but at least we don't need to grow the ingredients.

Yeah, only question is whether it's Gerontius or Haera in charge. Though I bet Aranthus also sticks around as an outlaw leader.

I have no idea what the timeline of their plans for retiring resin are, but replacing a kit as recent as Spyrer-Haera this quickly would surprise me at least a little.

I think there's also a version where all this infighting starts to attract Imperial attention and a new Interim Governor is appointed. Some high ranking AdAdmin adept etc.

The divide for the gangs is then whether they are still looking to curry favour with the old noble houses or going all in with the New Management.

Letting you bring in all manner of Administratum weirdos as they begin a full Planetary Survey and Census vs more of the noble and outlaw stuff as the Houses and Noble families look to hide some of the things they'd prefer not to be documented, overinflate other parts and implicate rivals in illicit activities.

That would be rather cool, although it would sadly be out of character for GW to introduce a narrative with a problem that can't be solved with a particularly awesome close combat weapon.

Of all the resin models that have been made for Necromunda, I hope the next ones to get made into plastic are the abhuman ones. I’d like to see fNecromunda/imperial style beastmen and (not ironhead) squats.

Yess, give us Bratz! Some properly Blanchian punks in plastic would be fantastic!

I seem to recall that when Necromunda was relaunched, it was said they wanted to do Brat Gangs over Spyrers. On things like Jetbikes.

Hive Trazior is infamous for the Brat gangs of its up-hive spires, who take a cruel delight in engaging in gang warfare with the ‘commoners’ of the underhive. They are well known for their brightly painted, and incredibly rare, jetbikes, which they race through the throughfares and transit tubes, inflicting mischief and mayhem wherever they pass.[5]

Struggling to sauce them being posited in place of Spyrers though.
