Hey guys, here is my first squad of painted plague marines (only 5 here but I have 7 per squad), thought I'd post them here even though they aren't based!

The plague marines look fantastic. The metallic areas look worn and go together well with the rest of the armor. Nice color green and very nice paint job.

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

The Dude - "Jackie Treehorn treats objects like women, man."

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."

Nice work, I especially like the tone on the meltagunner's right arm.

The general "rotten" drybrush job on the armor is well done.

Consider to add some little well placed purple wash shading the brighter areas. This will add a little complementar eye-catchin' color to the scheme.

What kind of bases are you planning to use? Some resin structured style I suppose.. Besides, how do you want to paint them?

Very well done. I especially like the overall subdued colors of your models with stark contrast to the highlights and bright colors. Also enjoy your choice in miniatures. Excellent work here.

Wow, thanks for all the positive replies! I'm going to soon be painting Typhus and possibly a squad of plaguebearers if I decide I really want to include them in my small but costly army of Death guard, but as soon as I finish those I will be returning to post them too!

Plaguebearers are great to have because they look so awesome, though I can't stand how ridiculously nerfed and generic they are in 5th Ed. I am not a fan of "one size fits all". I've considered running them as proxy Possessed but haven't tried that yet.

Yeah, I am with you on that one. It's depressing to see that GW put all of the lesser demons into the same unit in 5th edition, but I just love how they look and the idea of an army of plague marines that call in plaguebearers for support appeals to me so much haha

I like that aspect as well, though I prefer the old "summoning" method instead of the reserves roll.

At this point I want to see you add Plaguebearers just to see how you'll paint them up! I really like the color scheme you have going on and no doubt your Plaguebearers will be the same disgusting standard of living putrescence.

Very nice. I do think the slightest hints of some bronze details would really help them pop though.
