So, I'm still a newbie with regards to Warhammer 40,000, and I've a quick question with regards to Logan Grimnar's "The Great Wolf" rule ("Wolf Guard units count as Troops"), namely: should I interpret that rule to mean that i. Wolf Guard are Elites choices, but they can claim objectives like Troops choices, or ii. Wolf Guard are Troops choices?

i. results in a resigned sigh, ii. results in giggles at the thought of 61+ Terminators

And then people throw those 61+ terminators into drop-pods and spam spam spam the battlefield. I personally prefer to make 'fluffy' armies rather than armies that will win all of the time...

They are troops choices, instead of Elite choices.

Except that it would be a 2500 point list, and therefore not "win all of the time..."

A space wolf termie list at 2k points would not have a ton of stormshields. Cheap troops with power weapons like orks would mince meat that list.

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!
