At a friend's house, we have no gaming table so we make do with the coffee table. I wonder if the bikers pause to wonder why the mountain contains donuts.

In my spare bedroom. I hijacked the room about 18 months ago, built a 6x4 table over the bed and crammed a painting table, a TV and some storage in there, it's awesome. Me and my mates try to get together every thursday, but we maybe game about 3 times a month.

Its a good two hours to my nearest FLGS. I have a table at home for when folks come over, I travel to the stores when they have tournaments, I travel around the country for GTs...

And most importantly, I use Vassal to practice at home (Vassal40k.info) where I can test my wits against any player in the world.

We have a purpose built club venue above my mates business premises. All our terrain is stored there and we have two 8 x 6 tables and two 6 x 4 tables.

We play weekly there.

WHFB: Mainly we alternate between the homes of members of our gaming group, rarely we go to a local GW for events and such.

WarmaHordes: Pretty much only at my FLGS since I couldn´t get any members of my gaming group to play WarmaHordes (yet *evil laugh* )

My club hires the board room at a local sports club once a week. We store up to 6 boards and terrain for them there (two cupboards, which the boards are stacked behind).

I've not gamed in a store in over 12 years.
Prior to this club, it was with two other clubs who also hired local halls for their meetings. They charged $5 per head for the day to cover expenses.

Otherwise, I play at ONE convention a year. Getting in three days of gaming, generally.

Most of my gaming is club-level games. It's not so bad. I gave up trophy hunting in the 90s.
The adulation of other gaming geeks is not something to be collected.

I game mainly at one of several FLGS's around me.

I also game at an unresonably large amount of conventions.

My club has a couple of guys that have large basements so they both alternate hosting one saturday a month. I have my own ROB board that I can set up in my living room if I wanna invite someone over for a game. I rarely play at stores just because I rarely play in general.

I have a nice Table in my front room right now that gets used for occasional games of 40k with my friends on the weekends, but once a week I have to make a 40 mile drive to go play open tables/league at the (Not so) LGS.

I started a "club" with a few friends. We game bi-weekly at a FLGS in the city. We often meet at my home for additional games or instead of meeting at the FLGS.

Once you have a table and good terrain, it's really nice to be able to game in the home. Our group likes to meet at the FLGS to support them and to draw attention to the less-common games that we play (Warengine, Full Thrust, Song of Blades, etc), but it sure is easy just to have folks over and not have to go anywhere.

I play at home, or someone elses home. This has been since I started gaming. I started playing Battletech and the Robotech RPG at home with friends. I did have a game or two of Battletech at a LGS, but most were in home.

About 13 years ago I used to play at a small store near where I lived at the time. However, once I moved out of that area it was back to playing at home.

Truth. Sometimes its hard to get to play games other than GW stuff at stores, with the overstauration of 40k and all.

Other bonuses to playing at home...no closing time, usually dont need to worry about noise, no annoying kids, a bit of alcohol if you like too.

Local FLGS. It's about a 20 minute drive from home, and we have Warmachine/Hordes night every Thursday. It's a really awesome shop, they've got plenty of tables and the owner also does cafe-style stuff. It's pretty much a gaming cafe, so you can throw down for a game and have a coffee/latte/sandwich whenever you get hungry or thirsty.

I'd like to have a dedicated table set up at home, but right now that's not too feasible. I think it's pretty much every gamer's dream to have a space set aside in your house just for gaming and nothing else.

Game room and Cities of Death table here at home for gaming with my wife and boys. I go to the FLGS every Friday for games as well as a local tournament each month. I'm lucky to have lots of great terrain both at home and at my FLGS (6 themed tables with matching terrain) to play on.
