Hey guys. Just started looking at Dakka, been around other sites for awhile. My roomate recently finished painting our friend Justin's Chaos Reaver titan and it turned out totally awesome! (I think so anyways) Anyways, this was painted by Andy Wegener. Comments, suggestions, what you like and dislike, all are welcome. Enjoy!

Looks really, really cool. This model is a damn cool one, however (and I may sound really pedantic now), the flames are technically painted wrong. Fire is warmer and more yellow (or even white) the closer to its centre it is, not the other way around as you have done it. But oh well, it still looks great.

I think that is awesome and worthy of such a great mini.

I love the painting style, the green in particular is very well done!

Beautiful work!

Green is very well done and the flames are excellent. Just like the feel of it.

thats got to be one of the best painted titians ive ever seen, most of them have little or no detail painting due to the size of the model.
just great!

I keep coming back to this thread to drool over the images so I figured I should post. Congratulate your roommate, he did an amazing job on this model.

Any chance you can share how long this project took from start to finish?

This took quite some time to do. Our buddy got the titan I think around New Years and started to clean all the parts and what not, putting some of the minor stuff together. I believe the painting started in mid January, and he worked on it until the beginning of May. My roomate at the time was looking for work, so he had a lot of time to spend on it. It's actually kinda funny in a way, when he was just about to finish he got a new job. Perfect timing, right? I forgot to put the pictures up, but the entire interior is painted as well, from the cabling into the cockpit, to the upside down servitor (what's left of him after chaos took over) in the missile launcher.
