TNX, Yea it needs more tweaking :p i'll add maybe knives, drink flask, sleeping bag, and straps and ropes... They need to be the kind of backpack real special forces soldiers carry.
More pics wil be added, but i'm busy moving to a new place so dont have alot of time

ok thats understandable^^
don´t make it too big, lest it then might look as if they might topple over...i would attach the knifes and flask at the belt rather...the sleepingbag sounds a good addition tho!

they're kasrkin in dont have space around the belt...Yea, cant make it too big, they're no Hulky space marines :p just men :-) These are just for practice thou, its the first thing i made with green stuff, along with a berret for my sergeant. I'm planning on making entire new minitures who need to serve as special forces. Kinda like navy Seals or green berrets.....

that i would love to see, by the way, did you sculpt the whole mackpack from GS? or did you use the GS only for the last layer? i would recommend the later... as GS is pretty pricey... use some pieces of sprue or really anything of the size to have a bit of mass to base the GS on...

know that problem quite well...have dabbled a bit with GS recently for the first time but halted the project since then... a good base helps to save up on time too by the way... also if you dont already have the right tools, try to get some nailskin pushers... they are cheap as crap and you get them everywhere in drugstores... the paintshapers are hard to come by otherwise... at least for me^^

i would definatly not use your bare fingers... later the fingerprints are fugly as hell and hard to get away... i use these onetime gloves (plastic gloves) and if you leave marks then they look as if you wanted to have creases and stuff there^^ ...i too have dentist tools and sharp knifes...whatever takes your fancy^^ and i even use an old feltpen to roll the GS as thin as i like...like making cookies^^

Nice, ill give that feltpen a try! I wet my fingers, and then i model, it leaves no fingerprints and it makes the GS smoother to work with
