Hey, I though I'd share my latest piece and about all I've done since christmas what with work and writing that needs doing. :(

I got this out the cupboard the other week and painted it last Sunday afternoon, but work and worry got in the way leaving the basing until this evening. It's an old Grenadier figure but you can currently still get him from EM4 Miniatures for the tiny sum of £1.28!

Any suggestions for a name would be nice. I imagine him to be a small time planetary governor gone mad. The imperium must be full of fringe worlds that typically have little contact with higher authorities letting the odd loony let all the power go to their head and set themselves up as dictator and give themselves lots of medals for nothing.

Thank you, it nearly went horribly wrong though because I used a blue was at first that made him far too blue, then took a while to patch up and I did some shading using the grey, the blue is mostly gone but it needs to be there for depth IMO, not sure if it's apparent in the pics. Using only grey to shade a White figure can make it look a bit flat or grimy.

I got a kick out of this model. The unibrow rules. I think he might actually be the captain for a Caribbean Cruise line I was on a couple years ago, minus the gun.
