After looking around I found a few wargaming table plans, but I was wondering if anyone has seen and have links to some additional ones. I finally have a friend who is real good with wood (giggity) and is willing to help me out.
I've seen the one on the Dakka articles that have the awesome side holder and such, but I need something with a lowered play surface so I can drop in the realm of battle board or any other 2x2 table pieces.

So do you think I should mod the one under the article with a lowered playing area, or does anyone else have any other ideas.

Some additional thoughts that I would like opinions on.

- I have room for a 8x4... should I go with that or the normal 6x4?
- Drawers or a second "level" to put terrain on?
- I was playing with the idea of having the sides lift up (on the short ends of the table) to increase the length of the table to make 2 additional 3x4 tables.. thoughts?

So after some thought.. I'm going to be building the one from the wiki here http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Game_Table_Plans

8x4 with the side holders, but also with a lowered playing surface so I can drop 2x2s in.

Has anyone built this one and have any ideas about having it be able to be moved. Not a lot, just once in a blue moon, like if I were moving. I was thinking metal pegs in the bottom section of the legs so they interlock.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.
